Hi! Really concerned about getting to MK in EVC...not other parks but trying to manage the EVC on the monorail really worries me...have never used EVC, bad legs/feet after years as a nurse-do ok "normal" days but keeping up w/ 4 grandkids possibl

    Hi there Kimberly.

You can relax because one of the easiest, most enjoyable and completely worry free ways to travel at Walt Disney World is via monorail! I've experienced how convenient this transport option is when it comes to navigating monorail entry and exit with a family member in a wheelchair and the same holds true for a Guest with an ECV or scooter. There will be cast members available to assist you without any need to stand up or transfer, as there are special ramps at the accessible car of the monorail. Since you mentioned being new to using an ECV, you may wish to practice backing up in a straight line while your family members help direct you prior to making your first journey. The views of Seven Seas Lagoon and the surrounding area are amazing and you're certain to love your ride on this highway in the sky!

I'm wishing you an absolutely magical and pixie-dusted Disney vacation with your 4 grandchildren! Please feel free to send more questions my way in the days leading up to your trip!
