Hi Amy,
The Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party is awesome! It typically book ups fast. I'd try calling (407-WDW-DINE) every day or so to see if they've had any cancellations. You can even try last minute as sometimes guests have things that come up.
Another one of my favorite ways to watch the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom is aboard the
Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. I have taken the voyage with people ranging from 2 - 70+ years & everyone has enjoyed it. Guests of all ages love interacting with Captain Hook & Mr. Smee. And who doesn't like sailing the high seas with a pirate leading the way?
Patch the Pirate is great at entertaining all ages during the voyage with jokes, trivia & a chance to win some cool prizes. A big draw for many people is being able to see the fireworks without being elbow-to-elbow in a sea of people in the Magic Kingdom. You can relax & watch them from one of the best viewing spots ever.
I think people of all ages will enjoy Pirates & Pals, especially if you've never done it. I'm one of those people that likes to try everything at WDW at least once. Click
here to see a video of some of the Moms Panelists on this experience. If you want to try to book a voyage, I'd recommend that you try now by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.
If neither of these options are available for you, there are great spots to see the fireworks in the park. One of my favorites is in the Rose Garden. Tinker Bell flies right over your head which is a guest favorite during the fireworks.
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
