    Can you really take a boat from Old Key West to Downtown Disney? How long does this take? Do you have to fold your stroller?

    Hello, Rebecca!

    Yes, you surely CAN take a boat from Disney's Old Key West to Downtown Disney!  It's a really wonderful ride, too, very soothing and leisurely, with very knowledgeable Cast Members as captains, who can fill you in on the surroundings as well as answer any questions you may have about your stay.

    On most occasions, our trip was only about 10 minutes long, but you'll have to add in the time the boat may wait for more passengers prior to shoving off, especially if you're trying to make a reservation. You won't have to fold up your stroller, either, so this is a really nice alternative to taking a resort bus to Downtown Disney.  Be ready to snap some great pictures of both Downtown Disney and Disney's Old Key West from the water, too.  They may turn out to be among your favorites!
