If I have REALLY BAD service at the Luau, can I ask that my server NOT be given the automatically applied 18% tip?

    Hi Maggie,
You certainly have every right to speak with a manager and ask to have the tip NOT given to your server.  I actually can tell you a story about a recent visit to Walt Disney World  when I was on the dining plan and ate at one of my favorite restaurants Coral Reef, located in Epcot at The Living Seas.  On this particular night I had received very bad service (maybe my waitress was having a bad day!) but anyways, I had a big problem knowing that she could act like this still knowing no matter how she treated us, she would still receive a quite large tip.  I spoke to the manager and he thanked me for letting him know and said she would definitely not receive her tip and that he would speak with her.  I did also tell him that this was my first (and hopefully only) complaint I have made in one of Disney's restaurants and that I have always had exceptional service.
So long story short, I think management is happy to hear when someone is not happy as they thrive on the best possible customer service.
    Have a wonderful eating experience!
