Hi Jessica! Thank you so much for coming to the Disneyworld Moms Panel site to let us help you with your vacation planning. We all love what we do and although we all have personal preferences we will always try to give you the best information possible!

You are definitely following many of our advice in planning at least one full day in each park. With larger crowds this sometimes isn't enough but it certainly will give you a great taste of the attractions and shows in each. If you are going in the summer then you might even consider a break each day to nap and rest back at the resort. The heat can take a lot out of you and by the end of your vacation you can need a vacation to recover!

I love it when guests don't try to race to parks on arrival and departure days. Traveling is tough and tiring and this is such a good time to explore your resort and/or Downtown Disney.  I also find the day of rest mid week is a good idea. There are so many great resorts on property and a chance to explore them for possible future reservations is not only a good idea but also fun and relaxing. With a ride on the monorail you can visit the Contemporary, Polynesian, and the Grand Floridian. You can start with breakfast at one, hit some shops, then take a boat to Fort Wilderness and/or Wilderness Lodge and explore those resorts. The Disney stables are a must for me on every trip and if you have little ones a fun pony ride can be added. Lunch and dinner can be anywhere.....Trails End at the Fort, chef Mickey back at the Contemporary.  If you want to do something a bit different then see what is showing at the AMC theater in Downtown Disney and take in a dinner and a movie (Fork and Screen). Keep your options open for that free day and if a park is calling and you can't resist then you can head to one of them.

Sounds like a great plan for a super Disney fan!
