Realizing you are a mom's panel and not official Disney personnel, I am hoping you have an answer to this question. I am wondering why the free dining period isn't offered the 2 - 9 of Dec. It is really throwing a kink in my plans. Ideas? Thanks

    Hi Janna,

While I can't give you an official answer to your question, I can offer a guess.  As a business, Disney want to fill their parks with as many guests as possible throughout the year.  I think that offering FREE dining at certain times has helped increase attendance during typically slower weeks.

December 2 - 9 must not be one of those weeks.  We were there last year at that time, and I can tell you that it was comfortably busy.  Pop Warner Football usually has a big event during that week that attracts a lot of families.  There are probably other conventions and events that make it appealing for families to visit during the same week.

If you can swing it, traveling from December 10-21 is great!  The crowds are generally quite low, and there is a holiday feel everywhere.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
