Hi there. I realized we want to watch Paint the night, Fireworks and have dinner in a privilege position. We wil be going August 16th. What would be the best option/combination not to miss anything? Thanks

    Hi again, Victor!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for asking me this Disneyland Resort question.

There are two Paint the Night Dining Packages that offer the convenience and comfort of reserved viewing for the parade at Disney California Adventure Park along with a unique dinner experience. With the Carthay Circle Restaurant option, you’ll enjoy a full-service 4-course dinner of eclectic, Southern California-inspired dishes from a prix fixe menu. With the Wine Country Trattoria option, you get a full-service 3-course dinner (or lunch, if you prefer) of California- and Mediterranean-inspired dishes, also from a prix fixe menu. At the end of the meal your server will give each of you a voucher to enter a Paint the Night reserved viewing area later that evening. The vouchers list the location of your viewing area and the parade’s performance time. Viewing areas for the Wine Country Trattoria Dining Package are standing only, but the Carthay Circle Restaurant Dining Package includes a chair for each Guest to view the parade.

The timing of Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular at Disneyland Park makes it difficult to see both in the same evening since the fireworks show begins not long after the parade and is in the other theme park. If you’re able to visit the parks for two nights, I suggest reserving a Paint the Night Dining Package for one evening and planning to see Fantasmic! and/or the fireworks spectacular on the other night to fully experience the nighttime entertainment options both theme parks have to offer. I hope this helps you plan, Victor. Please don’t hesitate to visit me again with any other questions you can dream of as your vacation approaches!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
