Hello Teresa! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I love Valentines Day and I love Walt Disney World, putting the two together makes for a practically perfect day. I love that you want to sneak away with your hubby to celebrate.
If you aren't wanting to separate from the rest of your group too long, how about going to dinner? This will give you a couple of hours alone but wont take up the entire day? If my husband had his pick, we'd eat every dinner at
'Ohana while we are at Walt Disney World. 'Ohana is located at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and is really good. The food is served all-you-care-to-enjoy right to your table. What I love most about this restaurant, besides the food, is that you can actually see the fireworks right from your table. If you get a dinner reservation about 1 hour prior to the fireworks at Magic Kingdom and request a window table when you check in, you'll have the most spectacular views while you are having dessert. The restaurant dims the lights and pipes in music from the show. What could be more special than that? After dinner, if you wanted to extend date night a little bit, you could visit
Trader Sam's Grog Grotto which is a new bar in the Polynesian. It's theming is so fun, it's worth a stop inside.
This would be the perfect Valentines date for my hubby and I think yours would like it too. I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.
