i just realized we are arriving at wdw day before princess 1/2 marathon. are the parks likely to be more crowded? I have a 4 day PH and would like suggestions for when to visit each park.

    Hi Dianna!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Disney's Princess Half Marathon weekend will not really make a huge difference in your trip.  That Saturday will see a slightly higher crowd level, usually at Magic Kingdom and Epcot.  The parks will be less crowded on Sunday, with only Epcot being affected by runners coming through at the end of the half marathon course.  Epcot will return to normal by around 2:00 p.m., so you may want to skip Epcot on Sunday to avoid any runner congestion.

The ESPN Wide World of Sports complex hosts the Health and Fitness Expo for runners and is generally quite busy on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  If you're planning to visit the sports complex, I would wait until after the race weekend

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
