in reality how easy is it in Disney as far as waiting with a kiddo with cerebral palsy/special needs? he has a wheel chair and fatigue/endurance issues? the accessibility pass you still have to wait, right?

    Dear Jodi,

Thank you so much for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Honestly, Walt Disney World Resort is one of the most disability-friendly vacation destinations that you will find, in my opinion! So many shows and experiences are wheelchair-friendly without even having to transfer! Additionally, there are many attractions that utilize the Disability Access Pass, which allows your party to speak with a Cast Member at the front of the line and request a return time. The Cast Member will let you know exactly when your party should return to the line, and then they will direct you exactly where to go.

If he is easily fatigued, I definitely recommend that you stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, where you can easily return to the room for some downtime if he gets tired. If there's a more immediate need for downtime, check out the Baby Care Centers in each of the theme parks. They are definitely not just for babies! He can cool down and take a break from the larger park outside.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
