How much can I realistically do at MK in one day with a 1.5-year-old and 4.5-year-old? We are planning on rope drop, three fast passes plus more if available, snack lunch, table service at 5 PM, leave park by 630. How many more rides can I fit in?

    Hi, there!

Emily, I'm so happy to hear you're planning a visit to Magic Kingdom Park. Your heart is sure to melt when you see your little ones experience the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort!

Traveling with little ones in tow makes for lots of magical memories, but there are certainly some logistics you have to take into consideration ahead of time. Arriving at Magic Kingdom Park for official park opening is wise. That first hour of the day is typically the least crowded, so you can experience quite a few attractions with low standby wait times! I recommend using your first FastPass+ in the 10:00 hour, once the standby waits begin to get longer. Use another FastPass+ in the 11:00 hour and then take a break for lunch. Schedule your third FastPass+ around noon. I would expect that your kiddos will be getting a bit tired by then. My family usually leaves the theme parks in the afternoon to head back to our Resort hotel for a nap. If you're planning on staying at Magic Kingdom Park throughout the afternoon, I suggest scheduling some downtime to recharge. Mickey's PhilharMagic is the perfect spot to take a break. I wouldn't be surprised if your youngest takes a little snooze there! I think it's probably realistic to get another two or three attractions in before your dinner reservation. Aim for attractions with interactive queues like Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Interactive queues make standby wait times super fun for little ones!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Emily. Please let me know if you have any other questions! I'd love to help you plan a magical visit.
