Is it realistic to experience both water parks on the same day, given the park hours are only 10 -6? We are trying to get in as much as possible, but don't want to kill ourselves trying! We are staying at All Star Movies.

    Lynn:

Our family has had annual passes to the water parks and have gone to both parks in one day. There's a bus that will take you from one water park to the other but be aware that if you're going from Typhoon Lagoon to Blizzard Beach, I believe it stops at Saratoga Springs resort first.  And if you're going from Blizzard Beach to Typhoon Lagoon, you may stop at Animal Kingdom lodge before getting there.

The total transfer is around 45 minutes by bus.  This can cramp your style, especially if you have young children in tow.  My recommendation is to head to Blizzard Beach first and take the ski lift over to its steeper slides, as those are the attractions that will fill up the quickest. Then move to the purple slides, leaving the Toboggan Races and the lazy river for the end.

To help you with your time, I'd recommend eating a late lunch while waiting for the bus to Typhoon Lagoon. Once there, you can take a pulse of the crowd by going to the faster-moving Crush 'n' Grusher. You'll probably find that lines for the steeper slides will subside the nearer you get to closing time.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
