My only real question is, My son will have just turned 10 and I know we will be required to have the Adult meal plan for him but I know he would rather order from the Kids menus. Is this an option?

    Hi Tina!

As the "Chief Vacation Planner" of my family, I love the convenience and value that the Disney Dining Plan offers.  My family loves the variety of food they can order without concern over the menu price.

Our "Tweens" sometimes are challenging to feed aren't they?  The good news is that since your son is on the Adult dining plan, he will have the most options available to him.  If he were a child he would be required to order from the children's menu.  However it is my experience that my Tweens have been allowed to order an adult-sized portion of food from the children's menu.  If your son doesn't see anything on the adult menu that he cares for, ask the server for a suggestion and inquire about an adult-sized portion of one of the children's menu items.

At buffets, all Guests are free to serve themselves from all areas even the children's bar.  If you have a picky eater, you might consider making reservations at some of the buffets.  Most picky eaters will find some of their favorite foods at the lavish buffets in Walt Disney World.

Thank you for your question Tina.  Here's to a MAGICAL vacation with your son!

    Blessings,
    Brenda ºOº
