Hello! To get ready for our trip I have been buying Disney Gift Cards for the last 10 months. Do you know if we will be able to use them to pay for Disney Genie Lightning Lane passes? Thanks!

    Welcome back to planDisney, Mark!

Thank you for stopping by once again with a great question about Disney Genie+! It is a pleasure to continue to assist you as you make new magical memories at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Disney Genie is already out of the lamp, and Guests can use it to plan their best Disney day at The Most Magical Place on Earth! Visitors who want to make the most of their day can purchase Disney Genie+ to access the new Lightning Lane entrances at more than 40 attractions and experiences across all four theme parks.

I am a big fan of Disney Gift Cards, and I think they are a great way to save money for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I am happy to share that they are currently accepted as a method of payment when you purchase Disney Genie+ and individual Lightning Lane selections for high-demand attractions not included with Disney Genie+. You are welcome to buy Disney Genie+ and individual Lightning Lane selections on the date of your visit via the My Disney Experience mobile app.

I hope this information is helpful, Mark! Come back to visit us real soon if you have additional questions, and have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
