Three Generations Aboard Ship; fireworks; night

    We are ready to sail on our first cruise ever and don't know what to expect. I have a 2 year old and have already booked times for her to be in the nursery. My question is... how flexible are those times? Can we change times while on board?

    How exciting that you'll soon be partying with Captain Mickey on the top deck of the Disney Cruise with your whole family. You've got a spectacular vacation planned & you've got lots of magical moments in the works already.

    Your little princess will be kept busy while at the Nursery too! The Youth Club Counselors are amazing. My little 2 year old niece had a great time exploring the nursery and she loved meeting a few Disney characters in the midst of play time. She had a huge smile on her face every time she'd come through the doors and she was definitely ready to play. I'm glad to hear that you're well prepared and have already booked some times at the nursery for your little one. It is definitely better to have slots reserved now, since you can always cancel at a later time. Cancellations without penalty can be made as long as you allow at least 4 hours of advanced notice. 

    We were actually out for an extended dinner at Palo one evening, and we ended up needing extra time at the Nursery. We simply called and requested an extension, and the youth counselors just added on extra time for her at the Nursery. Dinner progressed for us at Palo and we had more time to enjoy our wonderful chocolate soufflé. I think the Cast Members on the Disney Cruise have a great appreciation for guests really enjoying their vacation. I've found them very accommodating and willing to go an extra step, just to make sure that my family's needs are met. They really are awesome with the kids and with parents!

    So, go out and enjoy all the onboard activities -- you'll be glad you did! Let us know if you need additional pixie dusted help in planning any other activities for your vacation.
