We are ready to be Imagine Passholders again! When do you think those passes will be available for purchase? I know they are only available as renewal right now. I am hopeful they will open soon. Is there a mailing list to be notified when it opens up?

Hi, Noren, and welcome to planDisney! It's exciting that you're interested in becoming a Magic Key passholder again. This is certainly an exciting time at the Disneyland Resort, with the 70th Anniversary Celebration underway and seasonal fun about to begin. When it comes to Magic Key passes, it's just a matter of timing.

As you mentioned, Noren, all four Magic Key annual passes are available for renewal only at this time. Sales of new passes are currently paused, and there is no timeline as to when sales will resume. We do know, however, that these passes are available for sale periodically, so keep an eye out! Sign up for alerts by clicking or tapping on the "Notify Me When Passes Are On Sale" button on the Magic Key page of the Disneyland website. I also recommend following the Disneyland Magic Key account on Instagram and the Disney Parks Blog to watch for official announcements.

In the meantime, you can compare the different pass types to confirm that the Imagine Key is the way you want to go, or you can consider going up one step. My kids have the Enchant Key, and I appreciate that there are quite a few Sundays that are included – that's when we typically go as a family. You can also hold up to four reservations at a time instead of two,

Once you get your Magic Key, take advantage of the seasonal extras and experiences. There may be complimentary keepsakes throughout the year, too – I have a cloth tote, poster, Mickey and Pluto pin, buttons, and other fun mementos around the house. You can also get discounts throughout the park on food and merchandise.

Noren, I'll wish upon a star that you can get your Magic Key pass. If you have any other questions, please let us know. You can count on us to help you out!

    Your pal,
