Ready for our drive to WDW in less than 2 wks! Planning on bringing some non-perishables with us, cereal, snacks. Wondering if there is a store to buy milk, juice, butter, bagels, for rm fridge? Also, is there a coffee maker? We'll be at POR. Thanks!

Hi Gena! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

What an exciting time to be planning a Walt Disney World Resort summer vacation! The countdown is truly on for you and your family! With so much to see and experience I bet your kids can’t wait for all of the fun!

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
, has Riverside Mill Food Court. In addition to six different food stations, you will find some Grab ‘n’ go items. There will be some juice, last time we purchased a half gallon of milk, and there are some bakery type items. You also should be able to find a local supermarket or a Walmart close to property just by using GPS on your smartphone.

I recommend using a really great service called Garden Grocer. Here you can order online any perishable or non-perishable food items that you would like and they then deliver these items directly to your resort hotel. This service has been invaluable to my family. When I arrive to my hotel, I am able to call bell services for them to deliver the items to my room. They even keep the perishable items refrigerated until you are able to have access to your room! We order a case of water, milk, juice, bananas, and other items that my kids like to eat! Lastly, each room should have a coffee maker. They usually are not the traditional coffee makers, more like pod type/single serve cups of coffee. “Mousekeeping” does re-stock the coffee and packets with creamer/sugar/stirrers each day!

I hope that I have helped to answer your question! Have fun counting down until vacation time and have even more fun once you arrive!
