    I am ready to book our trip to WDW at the CSR. I know that room requests cannot be guaranteed, but I would really like to wind up in Cabanas 9B. Are these rooms considered preferred/water view or are there standard rooms there? Thanks!

    How exciting that you're getting ready to reserve your trip to Walt Disney World! Congratulations!

    Cabanas 9B is a great building location to be in at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Rooms in the this location would definitely be considered to be 'Preferred Room' locations. For the best chance of landing in that building upon check-in, I'd definitely recommend that you choose a 'Preferred Room' when making your initial reservation. Follow up with a phone call to 407-939-7675 and ask the Cast Member to add a 'note' to your reservation. Here you can notate the "request" to be in Cabanas 9B. Room assignments are generally made a few days prior to check-in, based on availability at the time of arrival.

    if you prefer not to pay the small, additional fee for a Preferred Room, you can still notate the request and may be lucky to receive it if it is available at the time of check-in. Cabanas 9B includes Water view and Garden or Standard view rooms. If it's important to you to be close to the lobby, restaurant, shops and feature pool area, I'd definitely highly recommend that you secure the Preferred Room right from the start.
