    I was just reading about the "shows" that happen just before the parks open. Everyone seems to say it is worth getting there early to see them. They also pick a "Family of the Day". How do the familys get picked? Just wondering! Th

    I wish I knew the answer to your question as being picked as the Family of the Day at the Magic Kingdom Theme Park is one of the things on my bucket list of things which I would love to do at Walt Disney World.

    The Family of the Day is chosen at random by a Cast Member each morning.

    To increase your chances of being selected, here are some suggestions:-

    1/ Try to be the first family waiting to get into the Magic Kingdom that morning (you will have to get there an hour or more earlier than the Magic Kingdom is scheduled to open on that particular day) 
    2. Talk to the Cast Members at the ticket turnstiles, find out about them, tell them about your family & maybe do some pin trading
    3/ Wear matching, bright coloured t-shirts
