Reading it says that we will have to make reservations at the parks each day. I am planning on booking "on-property" lodging with tickets. But struggling with Hopper Pass bc it seems like they are useless. Am I correct?

Hey there Sean and welcome to planDisney!

Congratulations on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. The Park Hopper Option is definitely not obsolete in this Disney day and age. You can still get your hop on across the most magical place on earth. While you do need to make a reservation for your first park of the day, you're more than welcome to hop to your next park of choice starting at 2 p.m.

For example, A recent Disney Parks day for me started with an early morning at Magic Kingdom Park( helped along by a cup of coffee from Main Street Bakery). I spent the morning riding a few favorites like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover (while eyeing the TRON construction). I left early and went back to Disney's Riviera for a snack and a light nap to shake off the Disney Tired. Then I got up around 4 p.m. and took the Disney Skyliner to EPCOT for an evening of globe-trotting and snacks at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. If Harmonious had been running when I was there, I would have closed the night with that. Sounds like a pretty full day, huh?

Sean, hop into the fun at the Walt Disney World Resort. The magic is calling. Answer it!

    Happy planning!
