I was just reading a post about the amount to tip on the cruise I just need to clarify 12.00 per person per day I the family or 12.00 a day per staff member

    Ahoy Kimberley –
Thanks for stopping by to visit with us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am happy to assist you with the Gratuity Guidelines because your question is so relevant. Your service team will include your Stateroom Host, Head Server, Server, and Assistant Server. In order to budget for your tips, it is helpful to think of it in terms per person. Gratuities work out to about $12 per day PER GUEST. This means in a family of 4, each member of the family (that includes infants and children) will need to budget about $12 per person per day. The $12 per person per day will cover the tips for the ENTIRE SERVICE TEAM. There is a nice breakdown of the Gratuities online based on the number of days at sea if that helps. Kimberley, we appreciate your question and please don’t hesitate to come back and see us again if you need further clarification.
