Hello. I was reading online the some seat belt attractions at Walt Disney World offer seat belt extensions. Do you know what rides offer the seat belt extensions?

Hello, Jacy, and welcome to planDisney!

To the best of my knowledge, no seat belt extensions are available for Walt Disney World attractions. But here’s the great news, nearly every attraction is designed to be accessible for most guests, no matter their size! While there are height requirements on some rides, there are no weight restrictions at all. The seat belts, when present, extend farther than airplane belts. None of my friends or family have had any issues with seat belts on the attractions.

That said, some ride vehicles can feel a little snug. Space Mountain, Astro Orbiter, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, for example, have narrower seats that can feel cozy (or downright snug, depending on your perspective!). Two attractions that may present more of a challenge for larger guests are Avatar Flight of Passage in Animal Kingdom and Tron Lightcycle/Run in Magic Kingdom. Both of these rides have handy test seats outside the attraction, so you can see how the seating works before committing to the line. Plus, Tron offers adaptive seats for guests who prefer something other than the motorcycle-style vehicle.

There are loads of attractions and shows designed to be easy-going and accessible for everyone: no lap bars, no seat belts, no worries! Classics like Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan’s Flight, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin are perfect for guests of all shapes and sizes.
