Payton, we are absolutely delighted to have you stroll over to planDisney with your excellent question. And with only a few more days before your Walt Disney World vacation begins, the countdown is on! At your house, I’ll bet the anticipation level is through the roof and it’s a flurry of enthusiastic activity.
After checking the stroller rules, I see that
wagons and stroller wagons of any kind are not permitted in the Walt Disney World theme parks or water parks. This
rule came about to help improve the overall flow of Guests in the parks and to minimize any congestion in the pathways. Especially with the overarching objective to keep Guests appropriately
socially distanced, having less space taken up by bigger strollers and wagons makes that more feasible.
Single or double strollers are
available for rental in all the theme parks and
Disney Springs. Since you have your heart set on consolidating the stroller situation, I would suggest you simply rent two double strollers for your length of stay at Walt Disney World. That way, you don’t have to haul anything from home AND you won’t have to mess with individual strollers for all four kiddos. It’s the middle ground solution that will also probably be fun for your children. Here’s an idea: make a game of it and rotate who sits where as you explore all the lands of the
Magic Kingdom. At the very end, reward them for their cooperation with a sweet treat like a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar or a DOLE Whip® from
Aloha Isle (my favorite).
While I know this wasn’t exactly the answer you wished for, I do hope that it explains the reasoning and that we’ve given you a viable alternative that may make it more of an adventure for the kids. Have a fabulous vacation and enjoy every single moment of memory making with your family!
