I was reading on a non-Disney site that sometimes they will close parking lots during peak season times. We are staying through the 4th of July week and plan to use our own vehicle rather than the hotel's shuttle service. Do we need to worry about this?

Hi J! I think what you're referring to is that fact that at busy times, such as Christmas, parks can fill to capacity. If you're early risers you should have no problem! As long as you are there as close to opening time as you can get your family up, there shouldn't be a problem. I would recommend this for you whether you are driving or not, as you will be there at a busy time. Even at the busiest times, we always try to get to the parks early. It really is amazing how much you'll get done in the first few hours of park opening, so plan to hit all your must dos first. And use the Fast Passes!

Write us back with any other questions J! Hope this helps!
