Hi! I have been reading about Memory Maker, but am still a bit confused. Can you tell me exactly how it works? Am I able to go home and print my own photos or must I print them through Disney? Also, how is it different than Photo Pass? Thanks!

Hello Mallory!  I have recently used the new Memory Maker and I really like it!

Memory Maker allows you have access to the digital files of all of the pictures you have taken by a Photopass photographer while on your Walt Disney World vacation. What that means is when you get home from your vacation, you can download all of the pictures to your computer and print them out anywhere you would like.  You also can share them on your social media accounts if you wish.  There is no CD involved anymore.

There are literally hundreds of places to have your pictures taken throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.  With the new Memory Maker, you also get the opportunity to have the pictures taken from select rides and restaurants.  I love Memory Maker because it gives everyone the opportunity to be in the photo and with the touch of your MagicBand the picture is yours forever.

The Memory Maker is an all new product replacing the PhotoPass CD.  The Memory Maker is designed to work hand in hand with your MyMagic+ account.

Enjoy your vacation Mallory and I hope the memories last a lifetime!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
