Hello there, Gary!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you for asking us a question about the
Disneyland Resort. I want you to know that I'm very sorry for your loss and your family's sacrifice is deeply appreciated.
It sounds like you're referring to the
Disney Military Promotional Park Hopper Ticket offer currently available to eligible military service members. This offer is for active and retired U.S. military personnel (or their spouses), including the National Guard, Reservists, the U.S. Coast Guard, the U.S. Space Force, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). If you happen to be a surviving spouse who has not remarried and you have valid military identification noting your affiliation as a spouse, you should be eligible for these specially-priced theme park tickets and discounted rates at the
Disneyland Resort Hotels. Please be ready to present your military ID at the theme park gates upon entry to use these tickets.
If your military status doesn’t meet the qualifications for these two offers but you do have access to enter military bases, keep in mind that most on-base ticket offices on the West Coast offer slightly discounted theme park tickets that you may be able to purchase. These are not the same as the promotional
Park Hopper tickets I mentioned above, but they do offer some savings. Also, I recommend checking out the
Offers & Discounts page of
disneyland.com to see the other resort promotions that may be available to you!
I hope this helps, Gary, and that you’re able to plan a pixie-dusted vacation with your family soon. Please feel free to write back with any other questions you may have.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
