Hello Randi! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Like attractions unto themselves, many dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort offer culinary and thematic wonders for Guests of all ages. In terms of sharing experiences with your children, Walt Disney World Resort has you covered in terms of those particular "adults-only" experiences while visiting with kids in tow.
Weinkeller in Germany at Epcot is a part of the larger pavilion. As such is connected to various other shops by open hallways and doors. There is no formal seating (from what I remember) but tall tables to drink and snack on those delicious cheeses you mentioned. Kids are allowed in this part of the pavilion, however, there is not much for them to see or do (or a place to sit) so they may get anxious and distract from the experience.
The could take part in the
Kidcot Fun Stop located in the Germany pavilion or shop around
Der Teddybear, a German toy store, connected to the pavilion shops.
Territory Lounge at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort is a wonderfully relaxed locale settled amongst an already relaxed Resort Hotel. Like other bar-type lounge locations at Walt Disney World Resort, children are welcome to visit, but may not find enough in terms of entertainment or vittles to keep them satisfied.
I recommend that you keep your visits brief and to the earlier hours if visiting with kids.
Have a Magical Visit!
