I am reading that you cannot take luggage on the water Taxi from Disney Springs to Saratoga Springs. Does Wyndham Lake Buena Vista (Disney Springs Area) offer bell service to transfer my bags to Saratoga?

Hi there, Nicole, and welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you're planning my favorite kind of Walt Disney World vacation: a split stay! As you may already know, there are plenty of great reasons to switch hotels during your visit to Disney World. From stretching the budget to changing the vibes, split stays are one of my best tricks for shaking things up on vacation.

Nicole, my family loves how easy it is to transfer between two Disney Resorts Collection hotels. All we have to do is call Bell Services from our room, and a Disney Cast Member will come up to initiate our luggage transfer! Unfortunately, you won't be able to use this service to transfer to or from a non-Disney hotel, so let's talk about how to get your luggage from Wyndham Lake Buena Vista to Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa!

As you already know, luggage isn't permitted on any type of Disney transportation, including the water taxis. This means you'll have two options for moving your luggage. The first is to carry it yourself through Disney Springs over to Saratoga Springs. You can do this by taking the walking path to the resort, which you'll find near the Marketplace entrance at Disney Springs. If you're traveling light and don't have much to carry, this might be the right choice for you.

Of course, if you're anything like me, you're probably toting WAY too much luggage to carry on your own (don't judge me, I like to have options!). If this is the case, your best bet is to call a ride service like Uber or Lyft. They'll help you move all your belongings, Minnie ears included, over to Saratoga Springs.

Bonus Tip: Since you'll be staying so close to Disney Springs (on both legs of your trip!), you'll have plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment at your fingertips. A few of my faves? Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar for an adventure in cocktails, Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew for a much-needed caffeine fix, or Swirls on the Water for an iconic Disney World treat!

I hope this information is helpful, Nicole, and that your Disney World vacation is practically perfect in every way! If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney!

    See ya real soon,
