    Hi- Been reading this board for a few days and love all the info!! I see posts about having to secure an advance reservation with a credit card. What is the charge to secure a reservation? Thanks!

    Hi Laura!

    Most Walt Disney World Resort restaurants require a credit card to make a reservation; however, the credit card is used only as a placeholder or hold. You will not be charged a fee unless you fail to cancel your reservation within the required cancellation period and at that point, a cancellation fee will apply. There are circumstances that will require full payment when you make your reservations, and they include dining experiences such as Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, etc.  I hope this helps.
