Hi there, Ernesto!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you sailed by with your question about sailing with your little Mouseketeer! What a vacation you will have and boy oh boy will you make some incredible memories with your little one! While she won’t remember it, you will most definitely remember the joy on her face when she sees Mickey and Friends! I am so excited for you to experience this vacation alongside her as it will undoubtedly be so very special!
As a mom to two littles who have sailed with Captain Mickey since before they were one year old, I can assure you that you will find lots of fun for everyone…. baby girl included! When you arrive onboard you will receive information with a schedule of activities and events that are just for the littlest cruisers such as play times, dance parties and much more! Additionally, we would always plan to visit the
Oceaneer Club and Lab with them during their scheduled Open House hours (listed on the
Navigator app) where my boys would love to play in the area normally reserved for children ages 3 and up. Another one of our favorite activities – and it still is one even though my boys are older now – is to visit one of the lounges during the time before dinner to listen to the live music where the littles can dance and sing along! In fact, I have some of the best memories of dancing with my boys during this time!
During your day at
Castaway Cay, the beach is non-stop fun for little ones! Bring some dollar store sand toys from home, grab a wagon when you disembark and head to the beach for a full day of fun in the sun! And if it’s naptime (for little one…not mom and dad), I recommend taking her to the
nursery for a nap and head back to the Castaway Family Beach or Serenity Bay for some extra time in the sun while little one naps! If there are any problems, you can be reached via wave phone and you are only a short distance away!
Wishing you the most magical AND memorable vacation ever!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
