Hello, I read that the yacht club isn't really a good hotel for little kids (I have a 2 year old).. is this true? I'm currently booked at beach club but thinking of yacht club it's cheaper for the dates I can go.

    Greetings, Christina!

I can tell you my family has stayed at both Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Yacht Club Resort a few times each over the years and we definitely enjoy both. I've also read occasionally that Disney's Yacht Club isn't good for families or younger children, but my family has always loved it, so I think it's more of a personal preference.

Both Resort Hotels share the incredible Stormalong Bay pool area and same resort recreation activities. Both have cute themes and the available dining locations at each are only a walk or quick stroller ride away.  They're pretty much equal in my eyes, so if you can save a little money on your room to spend on a memory or experience in the parks, I'd definitely say go for it. Our last stay was at Disney's Yacht Club Resort and we adored it. The newly renovated rooms were beautiful.

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Christina! We're thrilled to hear from you and happy to help should you have any other Walt Disney World Resort planning questions.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
