Read Wonder will be on West Coast for at least 2 years & replaced by the Dream. After arrangement ends, will Wonder be back to Bahamas? Considering booking our first cruise on the Wonder 2010 OR do the Dream 2011 & hope Wonder returns.

    Hi Arielle,

Welcome to the Moms Panel - and I must say you have a beautiful name!  At this time the plans for the Wonder beyond 2012 have not been revealed.  We do know that the fourth ship, the Fantasy, will be added to the Disney fleet in 2012 - so it's anyones' guess as to where the Wonder will be after that.  There is certainly a lot of speculation on the fan sites as to what the plans could be, but no official word from the cruise line.

If this may be your one and only cruise - I would have to suggest looking into a voyage on the Dream in 2011, simply because it is new.  If you have the potential to cruise more than once, I think taking a cruise on the Wonder first in 2010, and then on the Dream (they offer onboard booking discounts if you book your next cruise while sailing) is a fantastic idea and gives you the best of both worlds.

    Good luck with your decision!
