i read that wheelchairs can participate in rundisney events and also read runners mush finish under their own power.....does this include wheelchair users "running" with family (i.e. my arms need a quick break, can my sister give me a push)

Hi April!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

There are many things during runDisney events that inspire and motivate me, but none more so than the amazing wheelchair athletes. My arms burn just watching them!

I believe that it would be fine for you to have a family member/friend help you out along the course, but please call or email runDisney to confirm this and get all of the details you need as a wheelchair participant. You can reach them on the runDisney contact page or call them at 407-939-4786.
