I read that wheelchairs are available to rent first come first served. how likely is it that a wheelchair won’t be available? Do they usually all get rented out? I broke my foot😑

Welcome to planDisney, Trent! There's a great big beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day, and yours is even more magical as you'll be headed to the Walt Disney World Resort! While I'm sorry to hear that you're visiting with a broken foot, I'm happy to try to help you navigate the parks so you can still enjoy every magical moment that's waiting for you!

Trent, wheelchair rentals are available at each of the Disney theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. You're right that these rentals are first come, first serve, so there is unfortunately no way to guarantee that one will be available for you when you arrive. In my experience, though, the wheelchairs do not seem to sell out, and I would recommend arriving as early as possible to the theme parks to ensure the best availability. Another option, Trent, is to bring your own wheelchair or ECV into the parks with you; you'll find that Disney resort transportation can accommodate wheelchairs and ECVs if you choose to bring your own, making it easy to get around!

Bonus tip: To help you prepare for your visit, check out the guide for services for guests with mobility needs online, including which attractions require guests to transfer, information about disability parking, and other available services to make the magic more accessible! I know you're going to find that Disney caters to all guests' needs to ensure a magical time!

I hope this helps, Trent! If you have any other questions before your visit, please come see us again here at planDisney!
