Hi Moms! I read in a WDW 2010 guidebook that the POR has queen size beds. Can you tell me if that is true? I'm trying to choose a value or moderate resort for my next trip in July with DH, DS13 and DD10. Double vs queen size beds? Help!

Hi, Lauren!  The only Moderate Resort that has rooms with 2 queen beds is Coronado Springs.   All other Value and Moderate Resorts (including Port Orleans Riverside) have 2 double beds.   Deluxe Resorts also have 2 queen beds.

Coronado Springs completed renovating all of their rooms in the past year.   The rooms have a modern feel to them and the queen beds are really awesome!   It is a great way to get a "deluxe" feel for a moderate price.

So, if it is the queen beds you are looking for, you will want either Coronado Springs or a Deluxe Resort.   Good luck choosing ther perfect room for your family!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
