I read that when going to the water parks, on-site guests are now given free towels (rather than renting them). Is that accurate? And where would you get the towels? Thanks!

    Hi Patricia!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I love visiting the Walt Disney World water parks - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach - and always schedule a couple of days there during my holidays, for a more relaxing time away from the excitement of the four theme parks.  Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel receive complimentary towels at both the pool areas of the Resort hotel and at the water parks.  You can find your pool towels in the bins located poolside at the hotels, and you can take these with you to the water parks, or you may collect towels at the water parks when you arrive.  Towels are also available for rent at the water parks, or you can of course bring your own towels with you.  Visit Singapore Sals or Beach Haus on arrival, for both collection or rental of towels.  You may also rent a locker here too, which is very handy for securing all your valuables for the day.  I always store some dry clothes in my locker, away from the sand and the water!

It's worth noting that MagicBands are waterproof, so can be worn when swimming or enjoying your favourite water rides.  I love the fact that this eliminates the need to carry cash at the water parks, but you are still able to buy refreshments throughout the day.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
