I have read various info about Mickey's Very Merry...I see all about the fireworks, parades etc... but what I can't find is, will there still be normal activities that night? Will the rides and the every day activities, stores, restaurants... be open?

    Hi Geri,

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is truly magical.  To see it snow on Main Street U.S.A. while watching Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade as you snack on cookies and hot cocoa - it is truly one of the most magical events of the year, in my opinion.

Many of the most popular attractions remain open during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  Not all attractions are open, but many are, and they tend to be the most popular ones.  There are also some food locations and many merchandise locations which remain open.  A couple of unofficial sites have lists of these available.  You can visit, where currently their top and featured link is about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and includes a list of open attractions and places to eat.  You can also look at  From this homepage, search for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party to find information which will also include open attractions and places to eat.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Geri!  Have a great time planning, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
