I have read that it is useful to bring a small folding step stool for young children to use at the sinks in the resorts. What is the standard height of sinks at the Art of Animation Resorts?

    Hi Nancy!

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is truly a wonderland for families! The incredible theming transports you into beloved Disney movies like The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, The Lion King, and Cars. Your family will love exploring the colorful details in each area of the resort, and the Big Blue Pool is an absolute must-visit! It's the largest hotel pool in all of Walt Disney World Resort and even features underwater music!

As for the sinks in the rooms at Art of Animation, they vary slightly depending on your room type, but they’re generally at a standard hotel height. I did some checking, but I wasn’t able to find the exact measurements. If you have space in your luggage, you may find that bringing a small plastic step stool could be helpful for your little ones to reach the sink. That said, when my kids were younger, I found other creative solutions, like setting them on the edge of the sink with my supervision to brush their teeth or wash their hands.

When you’re in the theme parks, you’ll find that many public restrooms have sinks that are just the right height for little ones, making handwashing quick and easy. Also, don’t forget about the Baby Care Centers located in each park! These are fantastic spaces for changing little ones, feeding them, or just taking a quick break from the hustle and bustle of the parks.

Wishing you and your family magical adventures during your upcoming stay!
