I've read in the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World that people staying in a Disney Resort hotel can make reservations for Cinderella's Table 190 days in advance rather than the 180 days. Is this true?

    Hi Suzette,

I'm never sure if I can explain this right, so hopefully it will A)make sense and B)be accurate.  Guests staying at a Disney resort can make reservations 180 days + 10 for their vacation.  Huh?!? (just stay with me)

For example, 180 days from today is March 30.  If I were taking a vacation to WDW from March 30 - April 5 and I were staying off property, I could only make dining reservations for March 30.  I would have to wait until tomorrow to make reservations for March 31, the next day for April 1, and so on.

Now, as I resort guest I would be able to make reservations for my entire vacation beginning today - that's the 180 days + 10 rule.  So, I guess if you were staying at a Disney Resort for 10 days, you would be able to make a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table 190 days in advance.  Does that make sense?

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
