I read in the Unofficial Guide that the parks sometimes open earlier for resort guests. (not EMH) My family's first visit is May 14-20. Is there any chance of getting in early if we show up an hour before official opening time? We're staying at AS Music.

    Hello Laura!!

The answer is YES!!!!  One of the BIGGEST perks of staying at a Walt Disney Resort is the Extra Magic Hours!!!  On certain days during the week, each Disney Theme Park is open either one hour early before the park officially opens OR stays open three hours later after the park officially closes!!!  This is absolutely incredible!!!

To find out when the Disney Theme Parks will be offering Extra Magic Hours during May 14-20, all you have to do is:

    1.  Go to www.disneyworld.com and hover over the PARKS link located at the top left-hand side of the main webpage.
    2.  Click on a specific Disney Theme Park.
    3.  Click on the CALENDAR link located on the left-hand side of the webpage.
    4.  Change the calendar to May, and you will find all of Extra Magic Hours offered during your Walt Disney World vacation!

If you have other questions, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!!!
