I have read on unofficial chat groups that Bus 1at the Coronado Springs has moved to be in front of the new Towers. How far away is this new stop from the original lobby stop? Does this remove the benefit of location the preferred rooms once had?

    Hi Tanya,

Glad you could join us today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I see your vacation is coming up in just a few days so I’ll be brief as I’m sure you are busy with any last-minute planning.

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is my family’s favorite from all moderate Resort Hotels. We’ve had the opportunity to stay here this past Holiday season, while the Resort was busy with the construction of Grand Destino Tower. We cannot wait to experience it and hopefully this will happen in the next few months.

With the new tower, a new Resort Bus Station No. 1 was constructed and it is located right between the entrance of Gran Destino Tower and El Centro, pretty much where the original one was located. From the photos I’ve seen, it is more comfortable than the original one, with more ample space to accommodate three buses.

One last tip: don’t forget to download or update the My Disney Experience mobile app, which now has real-time bus information from the Resort Hotel to the Theme Parks. See you real soon!

    Ricardo.
