I have read about the Tangled lantern photo opportunity in Magic Kingdom. I cannot find out if it will still be going in October. That scene in the movie is very special to my partner and I and we would love the opportunity if it was there.

Greetings, Kayla, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this excellent question.

Disney PhotoPass® Service presents you with the convenience of not having to worry about taking photos during vacation. Best of all, everyone is captured in that special moment.

Kayla, that most romantic boat ride in Disney's Tangled, with luminous lanterns leaves many a Guest spellbound, and it was very exciting to learn that it is currently a photo opportunity with Disney PhotoPass® Service (subject to change). The latest update from our official Disney Parks Blog post contributors, states that this photo opportunity has been extended and offered on a nightly basis until further notice (weather permitting of course).

Kayla, as dusk approaches, please visit Rapunzel Tower, Magic Kingdom Park, where a Disney PhotoPass photographer is stationed, to capture your special lantern moment.

While on the topic of Disney PhotoPass photography, you may wish to purchase our Memory Maker product which will afford you the opportunity to take home all videos and photos from your Walt Disney World Resort vacation for one set price.

We hope your vacation is positively magical, Kayla and we hope to be of any assistance again soon. Don’t forget to customize your plans with My Disney Experience to optimize your visit!
