I have read about taking some items on board with a day bag, or a carry-on bag. Can I have a carry-on and my purse, or do I need to condense it into one bag?

    Welcome Aboard Laryssa!

You will definitely want to bring a day bag with essentials for Embarkation Day, as your luggage may not arrive in your stateroom until a few hours after you board. Here's what you'll need in your day bag:

        Medications, in their original containers
        Passport and travel documents
        Camera and accessories
        Prescription glasses or contact lenses

No worries - you are more than welcome to carry a purse in addition to your carry-on bag. I hope this helps with your planning and packing! Have a magical day! - Diane W.
