    I read somewhere that as resort guests, you can upgrade your magic bands from a solid color to character ones...can you tell me when we can upgrade and as we are Canadians would we still pick them up at check in time. Thank you.

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question, my fellow Canadian!

    I was really excited to hear that there were new MagicBand upgrade options that were going to be available really soon for Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort. There are so many cute designs, it’s going to be hard to pick one… 

    From what I can see, that option isn’t “live” in the My MagicBands and Cards section of My Disney Experience quite yet, but it should be available soon. When it is, I understand that the options for Canadian Residents will be the same as they’ve always been: because MagicBands can’t be shipped outside of the United States, you’ll be able to pick up any customized and upgraded MagicBands that you may have ordered at the Front Desk when you check into to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel.
