I read somewhere that some places take 2 dining credits? So, if we went to (example? I don't know?) for a sit down service meal, it would actually take 2 of our sit down meal credits from our standard Dining Plan? THANKS SO MUCH for this panel!

Hello Shanna!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plan.  We normally purchase the standard plan that consist of 1 quick service credit, 1 table service credit and 1 snack credit per night stayed at a Walt Disney World Resort.

Some restaurants are considered a "Signature Dining Experience".  Those select restaurants, when on the Disney Dining Plan, do require 2 table service credits to dine there.  The great thing about the Disney Dining Plan is how flexible it is.  You can break your credits down how you would like, so using two table service credits for one meal is really no big deal.  When we dine at a Signature Dining Restaurant, I try to space out my credits.  One day we might not eat at a table service meal at all to make up for that extra credit for the Signature meal.

If you are looking for a great Signature Dining Experience, I suggest looking into the California Grill, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Le Cellier and the Flying Fish Cafe.  There are several options to choose from but I think those are some of the best.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask us.  Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
