I read somewhere in the Mom's panel that certain restaurants (buffet-style) provide children 3 and under free meals. Does this include character dining?

    Hi, Adon!

Life is glorious when your Mouseketeers are under age 3! They do not require a park ticket, and they are not charged at buffet locations when dining with a paid adult. Now that my kids are teens and I pay adult prices for them, I sure miss their days of being 2 years old!

Many buffet locations, such as Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace, will include characters. Other buffets, such as Cape May Café at dinner, will not have characters so it just depends on the location.

At non-buffet locations, your child is welcome to share from your plate at no charge or you can order a separate meal for him/her but you will be charged regular menu price for their meal. Kids menus are available at most locations if you would like to see what they have to offer for your child.

Enjoy having your little one, you will have teenagers running around your house before you know it!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
