    I read somewhere that there are microwaves for use in the lobby area of the Contemporary (or near one of the restaurants) is that correct?

    What you read is absolutely correct! At Quick Service dining areas in the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, there are microwaves which Guests may use to heat foods purchased in the dining area or their own foods brought in such as special diet foods or baby food.

    At Disney's Contemporary Resort, your quick service dining location is Contempo Café which is located in the resort's Grand Canyon Concourse, adjacent to Chef Mickey's. You'll find both a microwave and toaster for your use on a dividing wall near the condiment and beverage stations.
