I read somewhere that you can mail a package to resort hotel 2 weeks prior to check in for them to hold. Is this true? I would like to mail some snacks and big bottles of sunscreen. Thanks

    Hi Sonja,

I love that you are getting all of the tiny details out of the way. This type of "micro-planning" can make your vacay a breeze when you hit Orlando. You may mail packages to Walt Disney World prior to your arrival. You want to ship the package so that it arrives a couple of days before you do, let's say 3 to 5 days. More days than that would give me a "getting lost in the shuffle" feeling. Use FedEx or UPS for the most reliable service and tracking capabilities. Just a reminder, do not pack perishable items or aerosol cans or anything that could explode under pressure from an airplane. To ensure that the hotel will hold your package until your arrival address your shipping label as follows:

Guest's Name (same as on reservation)

    c/o Name of Hotel

Hold For Guest Arrival on 00/00/0000 (date)

    Reservation # 000000000

    Hotel Street Address

    Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

I hope this helps. See ya real soon!
