Kristina from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I read somewhere Epcot was having a craft, with tea and snacks. Where can I find out more info on that?

Hi there Kristina, it's great to welcome you here at planDisney!

For some Walt Disney World Resort guests, there's nothing better than getting the chance to spend an afternoon in the theme parks with a something to sip and snack as as you sit down to complete a craft. As someone who spends a considerable amount of time researching at EPCOT, I'm happy to spill the "tea" as it were on what you might be referring to and whether you'll be able to experience it on an upcoming visit:

    • At the current time, there aren't any locations at EPCOT that offer this experience - but during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival in previous years this was something you could find over in a lounge located in the interior of Restaurant Marrakech and sponsored by Florida Blue Medicare. The Cast Members and Florida Blue representatives working there confirmed that is lounge was actually open to all guests who could register for access online, and not just those of a certain age demographic as this included a complimentary mosaic tile craft for guests of all ages to complete. Other offerings from last year included henna tattoos as well as complimentary refreshments that included cold brew coffee, mint tea and juice samples.
    • This lounge space in the Morocco Pavilion is presently being used as an Annual Passholder Lounge complete with snacks and an opportunity to spot a visiting Character such as the Genie; after its operating period (currently scheduled through mid-June) there's no telling what this space may be used for next! I recommend staying tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for any updates as more details get released about the upcoming EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
That isn't to say that you can't find similar experiences around World Showcase, as opportunities to get creative may be found through select Kidcot Fun Stop locations or even at Glaskunst in the Germany Pavilion where you can create and ship home your own one-of-a-kind glass souvenir! For an unmatched tea experience, you might want to pop by The Tea Caddy to experience the English Tea Garden Tour presented by Twinings during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Come back again to planDisney Kristina for any other advice or answers, and I'll be sure to keep an eye for any crafty, tea-infused snack experiences as they show up again in the future!

Here's to creativity and cuisine abound at EPCOT!
