I read somewhere that Disney resort guests can make dining reservations 190 days prior to their arrival vs. the standard 180 days. Is this true? We'll be visiting over Thanksgiving so I want to make sure we book as soon as possible. Thank you!

    Hi, Corinne!

This topic is always a bit confusing!  Once you have your resort reservation made, you now have the ability to book your Advance Dining Reservations 180 days in advance for your entire vacation (up to a 10 day vacation.)   That is where the 180 days + 10 comes from.

You will need to have that resort confirmation number to do the 180 days + 10.   Thanksgiving is a very busy time, so you will be ahead of the game if you have this extra few day advantage.  Just another perk of staying on Disney property!

When you hit your 180 days out from the FIRST day of your vacation, get in touch with Disney Dining at (407)WDW-DINE and feel free to book your dining for your entire vacation.

I hope you book some great restaurants and have a very Happy Thanksgiving in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
